Warranty policy
UNICARE warrants new equipment to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the period, which is defined as sheet below or according to our sales contract, from the date of shipment under normal use and service. UNICARE's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing, at UNICARE's option, any part which upon UNICARE's examination proves defective.
Service Procedure
In case of an after-sale service claim, the Customer should
1. Contact UNICARE’ sales representative and fill out a Service Claim Form* with detailed information including but not limited to: (i) Model Name; (ii) Serial Number (S/N); (iii) Specific trouble condition. UNICARE should have no obligations to accept any service claims without the receipt of fulfilled Service Claim Form.
2. Once a fully filled Service Claim Form is received, UNICARE will notice the Customer and offer a solution within three working days. The service claim will be followed up on the following two occasions:
Within Warranty
There are two options given:
After receiving the Return Materials Authorization from UNICARE, the Customer sends to UNICARE the defective part(s) and informs the shipment tracking number, and then UNICARE will dispatch replacement part(s) to assigned address with confirmed shipment within 1 week.
The Customer signs a Declaration Form and sends the copy to UNICARE by either email or fax. This Declaration Form is legally certificated to guarantee that the Customer will return the defective part(s) to UNICARE on time. UNICARE will, at this stage, dispatch the replacing part(s) with confirmed shipping invoice(s).
Out of Warranty
After receiving the Return Materials Authorization from UNICARE, The Customer sends defective part(s) to UNICARE. UNICARE will analyze the degree of trouble condition and offer a quotation to the Customer of either repairing defective part(s) or making replacement(s). Once the maintenance fee is invoiced and paid, UNICARE will dispatch part(s) to assigned address.
The warranty shall not extend to any instrument that
1) out of warranty period;
2) has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accidents;
3) caused by modification or repair by anyone except UNICARE or UNICARE designated person;
4) from which UNICARE's original serial number tag or product identification markings have been altered or removed;
5) or any product of any other manufacturer;
6) accessories/parts like plastic enclosure, operation manual, hanging lace, packing
UNICARE warrants the repair and service referring to CE rules. All the repaired parts or replaced parts will be warranted for 3 months from the date of return. Maintenance will be served Parts will be available for a maximum period of seven (7) years after any equipment has been discontinued. Parts shall include all materials, instructions, diagrams and accessories that were furnished with the standard models.
